Jackie Shapiro started her design career upon graduation from Parson’s School of Design. Her first job was in Italy, working for Milan's innovative fashion house, Fiorucci. This is where Jackie began to develop her bold and graphic, pop culture style. Drawing from her experience designing for others, Jackie began her own children's fashion collection under the "Izzy" label over the next several years. As the principal of French Bull, known internationally for redefining melamine plates and melamine dishes in the marketplace, Shapiro continues to break new ground and broaden the French Bull lifestyle statement.
