WRITING THANK YOU NOTES

Sometimes writing a great Thank You Note simply means writing one. But what really makes a great thank you note? Good thank you notes are prompt and specific. Don’t make people wonder whether you got their gift (and what you think of it.) Send it within two weeks if at all possible, but it’s never too late to say thank you. In the note, refer to the gift specifically, and mention why you are glad you got it and what you will do with it. It doesn’t have to be long. But sending one will go a long way towards making the giver feel appreciated and positive about the gift giving experience.
